STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
(Matheson Learning Center, Rooms
B&F)
Student Support Services (SSS) is a
program funded by the United States Department of Education. It
is designed to assist disabled, low income or first generation
college students in maximizing their academic potential to achieve
their academic goals. Support, advising, workshops, cultural events,
and instruction are provided to program participants increasing
the likelihood that they will earn desired grades, remain enrolled,
and graduate from college.
SSS program enrollment at West Kentucky Community and Technical
College is open to qualified individuals regardless of race, age,
national origin, sexual orientation, religion, veteran status
or disability status. Qualified individuals are encouraged to
participate in the programs of the college.
The Student Support Services main office is located in Matheson
Learning Resource Center (MLRC) Room B on the first floor.
Lab facilities are located in MLRC, Room F in the center of the
MLRC first floor.
