Our Assessment Center is currently a testing center for ServSafe®. If you have taken the online class for certification, our Assessment Center is for you. The ServSafe® Food Safety Training Program leads the way in providing current and comprehensive educational materials to the restaurant industry. More than 2 million food service professionals have been certified through the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP). ServSafe training and certification is recognized by more federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification.
Workforce Solutions provides classroom training for ServSafe® certification. This training including the test is eight (8) hours in length. At the end of the training the ServSafe® certification test is given. The cost for the training and test is $125.00. The textbook is REQUIRED and is not included in the training cost. The book for the class is ServSafe® Manager Book 6th Edition. This textbook can be purchased at the WKCTC college bookstore or at most online bookstores. It is strongly recommended that you read the book before the training day.
Classes for ServSafe® certification are held in Paducah at the Emerging Technology Center the third Thursday of each month. Class begin promptly at 7:30 am and end at 4:30 pm. Pre-registration is required. A photo ID and an e-mail address is required. The exam is computer based. Basic computer skills are helpful.
For those only needing to re-test the fee for re-testing is $62.00 and that test will be given at 3:00 pm, each third Thursday of each month at the Emerging Technology Center. Pre-registration is required.
