Justin Jackson

Justin Jackson

Justin Jackson made a promise to his grandmother that he would go to college.  He is honoring that promise at West Kentucky Community & Technical College.  He is studying economic and accounting with a vision to own a business; a legacy to leave behind for his future children and grandchildren.

Justin is currently working toward his associate degree and said he chose WKCTC because of its convenient location and affordable classes. He plans to continue his education and plans to earn a master’s degree in business within the next five years.

As a Student Ambassador, Justin said he has learned more about the college and what is going on around campus.  He enjoys sharing that knowledge with his fellow students; he strives to be a mentor to help those following in his footsteps.

For those that might have concerns or reservations about going to college, Justin had this advice.  “Do it.  Don’t hesitate.  And if you have questions, don’t be afraid to ask because the faculty is always willing to help.  It could possibly be the best decision you will ever make; it was for me.”
