West Kentucky Community and Technical College assesses international student tuition the same as Kentucky residents. Annual tuition of $3,240 is based on a student scheduling 12 credit hours per semester for both the fall and spring semesters at the in-state resident tuition rate of $135 per credit hour.
The cost of books is dependent upon the individual degree program requirements; however, $800 per semester would provide an adequate budgeting guideline amount.
Off-campus housing living expense of $8,000 is an estimation based upon student living in a one bedroom apartment. If student is able to share expenses of a two bedroom apartment, expenses are estimated at $4500 per year.
Mandatory health insurance costs $850.
Personal expenses such as food, transportation, clothes, recreation, etc is estimated to be $4,000, Again, please note that living expenses may vary with individual student needs and tastes.
If students intend to bring their families with them to the United States, they must submit proof of an additional $4,000 for a spouse and $2,000 for each child. Spouses and children must each complete an I-20 Form in order to obtain an F-2 visa to accompany F-1 students.
WKCTC does not provide any support for dependents. It is solely the student’s responsibility to find accommodations for dependents.
