I was a former WKCTC student.  Do I have to complete a new application?

Former WKCTC students must complete a new updated admission application when they have sat out for more than one semester. 

How can I request a transcript?

Transcripts may be requested online at: https://www.studentclearinghouse.org/secure_area/Transcript/to_home.asp?t=131411&LoginHome=to_home.asp with payment by debit/credit card.  

Can I drop a class over the phone?

Course withdrawal requests are NOT able to be processed over the phone.  Course withdrawal requests may be processed in person, by fax or by way of the student's KCTCS student email account.  Please send email course withdrawal requests to WKCTCRecords@kctcs.edu and include your name, date of birth and course(s) from which you wish to withdrawal.  Students must receive an email confirmation in return to ensure proper processing. 

Can I register myself online after I apply?

First time students may typically need to see an advisor to register for the first time.  Returning students may work with their assigned academic advisor to determine if online registration is available.

What’s the cost for a transcript?

Transcript requests may be mailed within three business days for a fee of $7.25, mailed same day for $9.25, faxed and mailed same day for $12.25.  Please see the online trascript request site for more details and instructions.

What’s the cost for tuition?  

Current tuition and fee information is available.

How do I get my student ID number? 

Student ID (or EMPL ID) numbers may be obtained by visiting the Student Account Center online or by requesting in person (Anderson Technical Building) with a photo ID.  Alternatively, you may request that your ID be mailed to your postal address on file in our records.  Unfortunately, student ID numbers may not be given to a student over the phone or by email or fax. 

When will I receive my credentials?

Credentials will be mailed to your home address approximately 12 weeks following graduation.
