Proctored exams require students to take an examination in a controlled location under the supervision of a proctor, who monitors students during the exam period. A proctored exam permits instructors to limit student access to certain materials such as books, notes, and the Internet and to verify the identity of the individual taking the exam. Some online courses may require up to two proctored exams.
The Online Testing Center is located in the Emerging Technology Building, Room 245. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and Thursday evening 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Please contact the Online Testing Center Coordinator for any additional assistance.
