The Associate Degree Nursing Program at WKCTC prepares graduates to fulfill the roles encompassing the professional nurse. These include human flourishing, nursing judgment, professional identity and spirit of inquiry. The curriculum combines general education and nursing courses that correlate classroom and clinical instruction in a variety of community agencies. Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).   Check out our flyer.

Employment Opportunities

According to the US Department of Labor, overall job opportunities are excellent. There is a 100% job placement for WKCTC ADN graduates seeking employment within one month of graduation. Nationwide salary range for RN's is $51,000-$76,000. The annual median wage for the Commonwealth of Kentucky is $55,000.
