Information Technology

Transferring to a university or getting a job, IT can make it happen.

The Information Technology (IT) program at West Kentucky Community and Technical College is an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree that leads to both job opportunities and transfer options to 4-year universities.  The IT curriculum is supported by a solid foundation of general education classes that include writing, communications, computer and math skills.  Students will obtain hands-on training to develop skills in computer networking, computer programming, hardware and software maintenance and web page design. If a graduate chooses, he or she will be prepared of sit for industry-recognized certifications exams.  Check out our flyer.

Length of Program

The AAS degree can be obtained in 2-3 years, depending upon the readiness of the student to enter college course work.
