Paramedic Technology

Earn credit for your paramedic experience and finish your degree now!

A student who has passed the EMT-P National Registry Examination for a state licensure or certification examination for Paramedic, is currently practicing as a paramedic, and holds a paramedic license/certification may be awarded thirty-five (35) semester credit hours upon completion of twelve (12) college credit hours from West Kentucky Community and Technical College.  Check out our flyer.

The suggested course sequence usually takes two semesters to complete.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the Paramedic Technology program requires students to meet the minimum requirements for enrollment.

  • All students must have passed the EMT-P National Registry Examination or a state licensure or certification examination for Paramedic.
  • Must be currently practicing as a paramedic and hold a paramedic license/certification.
  • Documentation of EMT-P certification must be submitted when applying for the degree.
