A student who has passed the EMT-P National Registry Examination for a state licensure or certification examination for Paramedic, is currently practicing as a paramedic, and holds a paramedic license/certification may be awarded thirty-eight (38) semester credit hours upon completion of a) applying to the college of choice; b) submiting a letter of intent and a copy of the required licensure/certification document to the program coordinator with subsequent validation by the Registrar; and c) completing at least nine (9) credit hours from the degree-granting institution. The suggested course sequence usually takes two semesters to complete.
Admission to the Emergency Medical Services - Paramedic Program requires students to meet the minimum requirements for enrollment.
