Telecourses
Currently, taking a Kentucky
Educational Television (KET) telecourse requires
access to one of many KET channels. The programs air between
11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. so having a VCR is critical.
KET broadcasts are available to view in the library located
in the Matheson Learning Resource Center. Students with
satellite television should contact William Wade at (270)534-3126
or e-mail
William Wade.
The courses are professionally produced and a local faculty
member is available for testing and questions. You can
contact the teacher via E-mail or phone. Testing is proctored
and site information is made available through the Syllabus
and Objectives for each KET class. Also listed on the
Syllabus and Objectives is the addressing information
for the teacher.
The link to the current class offerings is found at this
KET
Web site.
Another link of importance is the Proctor's
Site link.
Telecourses are offered over Kentucky Education Television
(KET) channels. Consult your local listings for channels.
