Meet Our Instructors
Home
chefs Dom and Arleen Amato have been teaching Italian Cooking
at WKCTC for several years. Their classes are so popular, they
offered Italian Cooking II last year for students wanting to
learn more of their fabulous recipes. Dom and Arleen leave their
students well prepared to create their hearty dishes at home.
Don
Barger is the cookie official at Kirchhoff's Bakery. He has
been at the bakery for years, and has great knowledge of baking
both cookies and breads.
Caterer
and chef extraordinaire Laura Duff is the owner of A Pampered
Palate at Kirchhoff's Bakery. A Registered Dietician with a
Nutrition and Food Service Management degree from Murray State
University, Laura makes Kirchhoff's Bakery simply sizzle when
it comes to high-end catering featuring her homemade fare.
Personal
chef Holly Heath received her culinary training from the Culinary
Institute of America. Her At Your Table chef service specializes
in helping busy, time-starved (and nutrition-starved) families
avoid unhealthy foods by creating flavorful meals in your home.
David
Jones leads the Artisan Kitchen crew as they strive to expand
their unique offerings. As Owner and Executive Chef, David has
over 20 years experience in front and back of the house operations
both locally and in the St. Louis area.
We
are proud to feature WKCTC culinary graduate Karla Lawrence
from Artisan Kitchen as one of our instructors. Karla is a pastry
chef who has was recently accepted to attend the World Pastry
Forum.
Market
Square Coffee owner Valerie Pollard is Paducah's downtown barista.
Market Square Coffee features a large retail selection of both
coffees and teas.
