West Kentucky Community and Technical College has begun implementing a five-year plan, called a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).  The purpose of this plan is to further assist students in achieving their educational goals.  The plan is entitled Focus on Reading.
 
Faculty and staff will implement strategies to assist students with the enhancement of their reading comprehension skills and build a culture of reading on campus.  You will begin to notice several changes including an enhanced library collection, library displays,  and activities for students that will Focus on Reading.
 
The Edu-cache contest asks students to decipher clues in order to locate a hidden prize: a certificate for a $100 Barnes and Noble gift card.  The clues will be released once a week through the Monday WKCTC Announcements.  The clues will get progressively easier until a student locates the prize.
