Rotaract Club Meeting April 14
 
The next Rotaract club meeting will be on Monday, April 14 at 6 pm at the McCracken County Public Library. Rotarct, a program of Rotary International Club, seeks interested men and women ages 18-30 who are interested in meeting new people, developing professional and leadership skills and getting involved in the community. Dental Hygiene Promote Good Dental Care to Preschoolers
More than 50 employers and over 200 students seeking employment attended the annual Job Fair on March 7. (more)

Disney Theme Parks & Resorts College Internship Program

The Disney College Program offers students the opportunity to take college-level courses for credit, network with Disney leaders, audition for entertainment roles and enhance a student’s marketability in today's job market. Presentation attendance is required. (more)

 
Crittenden County Hospital Donation Helps Radiography Program

A recent equipment donation by Crittenden County Hospital will help students at West Kentucky Community & Technical College get laboratory experience using a mobile fluoroscopic unit in a surgical setting.  (more)

Express Yourself

The West Kentucky Community & Technical College Cosmetology Department sponsored their first annual fashion show on March 12. The students modeled clothes and hairstyles to a crowd of more than 100 people. The clothes were donated by Dillard's and Maurice's, with beauty products donated by State Beauty Supply. KY Delta Rural Project Promotes Program on Childhood Obesity

Area fourth graders learn about the importance of being healthy and exercising.

The KY Delta Rural Project has teamed up with West Kentucky Community & Technical College for the past five years to host elementary fourth graders from McCracken County and Paducah Public Schools to attend a two-hour program focusing on childhood obesity. (more)
