Rotarct, a program of Rotary International Club, seeks interested men and women ages 18-30 who are interested in meeting new people, developing professional and leadership skills and getting involved in the community. A recent equipment donation by Crittenden County Hospital will help students at West Kentucky Community & Technical College get laboratory experience using a mobile fluoroscopic unit in a surgical setting. (more) |

The West Kentucky Community & Technical College Cosmetology Department sponsored their first annual fashion show on March 12. The students modeled clothes and hairstyles to a crowd of more than 100 people. The clothes were donated by Dillard's and Maurice's, with beauty products donated by State Beauty Supply. The KY Delta Rural Project has teamed up with West Kentucky Community & Technical College for the past five years to host elementary fourth graders from McCracken County and Paducah Public Schools to attend a two-hour program focusing on childhood obesity. (more) |
